Happy Birthday Son. I can't believe it's been 17 years since you were this little bundle of baby. Your hair hasn't changed a bit........
The son got a nice book from his friend Logan for his birthday. The son and I have decided to read it together. (My suggestion, but he agreed) So last night we started it. We are half way through the second chapter. I read a couple of pages and then he reads a couple of pages. What a nice way to spend some time together (sort of an offset to watching Lost together.
Bill had to work today, but the son and I had the morning off, so after a little cleaning up we watched one of those episodes of Lost. In fact I think it was the season finalle of Season 3. It looks like they are getting rescued, and we have lost dear ol' Charlie.
This afternoon was MVP soccer. There were quite a few kids showing up despite it being the middle of school holidays.
We gave the son his birthday present (the one I had), a silver chain to wear with his Chinese pendant he got from his great grandma Wong when he was born. The orignial chain was too small to go around his neck.
