Day 244 - 121 Days to Go

We're home!!!! The day started out early. Woke up at 5:00 am to get a start on all that needed to be done. Enjoyed a hot relaxing bath before Bill woke up. Then we packed up the bags and headed to the airport. Seattle is an amazing city. One of the best things about our weekend, was the public transportation system. We were able to take the metro all the way from our hotel (within two block radius of our hotel) to the airport - and all for $2.50. There were great directions too. At the stations down town, there were security guards on either side of the platforms; the platforms were clean and no street people hanging around.
Once at the airport, we had a quick bite to eat and then headed through security. I almost peed my pants laughing at the mom and teenage(or young adult) in front of me. First the mom put her bag through the xray. They brought it back and asked if there was any airisol product. Yes and she took it out. They explained it couldn't go on the plane, but she could check her carry on bag if she wanted. No that was fine. She walks through the metal detector machine. Then it was the daughters turn. She has the same bag as her mother - different color. It goes through the xray and the man pulls it back and takes out a wate bottle - can't be brought in - it gets dumped. They the girl walks through the metal machine. It beeps wildly. The security lady tells her to go back and check for stuff in pockets - like a cell phone maybe. Yup it's there. So she walks through again and this time nothing beeps. They she gets to where her bag has gone through. The security person asks if she has airesol products. The daughter pulls out one, but two other hair products. She is told they can't go on the plane, but she can check her carry on bag if she wants. The mother is furious as the products are quite expensive. The daughter's response to the security people "I can't believe you can see all this stuff through that machine!!!!!" I'm going to give these people the benefit of the doubt that they have never flown before.
So we wait for our flight, board it, and we got first class. Technically it wasn't called first class, but it was the first row (there were only 48 people on the plane) The hour flight went fast and before we knew it, we had arrived in a snowy Calgary. Sort of the same way we left it.
Dad picked us up at the airport and we headed home. Got some stuff put away and then it was back to the routine - soccer. Just finished supper and I'm ready for bed. Will try to stay awake for one episode of Lost.

BODY: Got lots of walking in again today, but this time at the airport.

MIND: Louise Hay "Today the Universe fills my life with rich experiences"

Good Night
