Day 241 - 124 Days to Go

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry. I am a little late on the blog. But with good reason.
We left the house around 7:00 for our 9:55 flight. Thanks for the pick up Ben. Boarded our plane bound for Seattle. No snow in sight - was I dreaming last night. I know there was ativan involved because I checked out the typing and spelling skills and they were pretty bad.

So we arrived in Seattle, got our bags and decided to try out the city transit. Pretty fast. So we got to hotel room and the Warwick, 18th floor. I flopped on the bed and when I woke up 2 hours later, Bill was no where to be found. Not a note, or clue. He finally arrives back in our room after he has toured around the hotel and surrounding area. Said he couldn't wake me. I must have been tired.

So we got ready for the Jazz Alley to see Mr. Peter White. What an amazing show. We were second in line so we were seated right in front, smack dab in front of Peter. Before the show he came over and had a little chat with us. Then we had our meal. Shortly after that, Peter and his band went on. Amazing - what a guitar player. I can see why Bill has all of this guys CD's. Third song into the set, Peter dedicates the next song to us for our 25th wedding anniversary and for coming all the way from Calgary. Spot light, applause (people are drunk by now) He played for a couple of hours. Then Bill bought his latest CD, had it autographed and then we took pictures. The jazz club was just a couple of blocks from our hotel, so it made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Even the 4 different drinks I tried from the menu were all really good!!!!

BODY: All the drinks I had at the Jazz club had fruit juices in them:

MIND: Don't know something, until you have tried it: Live jazz is amazing.

Early good morning
Stacey
