Well it's Sunday and the end of a great trip. I'm beginning to think I like these little short jaunts better than the long 2 week vacations.
The first part of the morning we took a tour of the underground city. It was very interesting. I was impressed you didn't see "rodents" around. We spent the day walking again. You can pretty much cover a lot of ground walking. Today we ventured into Chinatown. In and out of a lot of stores and markets. I did my best to avoid a lot of purchases in the Asian market. Jane would have been looking in that store for hours.
Then we walked to the shore and had lunch at the Sourdough Bakery. You know, Bill's all time favorite bread!!!!! Then we headed back to Pike's Market for a little gift shopping. Went down some alley's that we hadn't visited the day before. Then back to the water to sit and watch the water. (and the little kids chasing the pigeons. Let there, as I've been know to get droppings from pidgeons) The sun was so warm, one could have been in shorts, but as soon as we left the sun, the wind cools everything down.
So it's 5:00PM and we're back at the hotel. I'm gonna have a nice soak in the tub and then I believe we are trying out happy hour again. Home tomorrow.
BODY: Sore!!!!!!
MIND: Filled with wonderful memories!
Good night
Stacey
