Twenty Five Years! No, no my age - try being married!!!!! I recall a slight covering of snow on this day 25 years ago; 300 people at the reception; pictures in Devonian Gardens; Alisa and Michael flower girl and ring bearer; alarm going off in the restaraunt from the cooking smoke; changing from a white dress to a pink dress, back to a white dress; back to a pink dress; the tea ceremony; mom wee popping something in my mouth and I walked around with it in my mouth for about 30 minutes because I didn't know what it was, then I swallowed it without chewing it; turns out it was just a ball of dough.
It was back to work this morning. We got a copy of the class picture that was taken before the holidays. My gosh, those kids are cute. The kids were a little off today, but by the end of class they were back into the routine. Thursday will no doubt be a normal day.
On the way home from work I just about got hit by a car that was called "Driving Miss Daisy" of all things. I hope Miss Daisy didn't get whiplash when her driver had to stop.
The son was off of school for a PD day. I don't think he actually got up much before I got home from work. He may have some difficulty getting into the groove tomorrow.
Then tonight of course there were soccer try-outs. Hopefully this is the last of it and we can move forward. The son had a bit of a gash on his knee from getting cleated. He said there didn't seem to be any bruising, just the superficial wound. The young man (culprit) apparently apologized, but the son said it was an accident and totally unintentional.
While soccer wNo matter how others behave, I keep peace in my hearts going on I ran over to Safeway quickly. Ten percent Tuesday you know. Needed to stock up on a few groceries for the son. He might actually have to cook for himself for a day.
BODY: Did my ab exercises this morning, and 10,000 steps.
MIND: Louise Hay "No matter how others behave, I keep peace in my heart." This is a great quote and one that really hits home for me. There was a comment made awhile ago by someone, who although she said it in a joking fashion, you know it's exactly what she was thinking. And it wasn't even about me but about the son. People don't realize how transparent they can be.
Good night all
Stacey
