I hadn't planned on writting a blog this evening because I didn't think I was going to have access to a computer. Why one might ask? Cause Bill and I are(were) going to Seattle for the weekend, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
But there was a change of plans. A blizzard snuck up just before boarded our plane. IT was playing havor with the electrical system. Even the check in computers were down. And the cloc on the all was going crazy. It went through 30 mintues in 30 seconds. That was a little freaky So we all load on the plne nd we sit and we wait. We haven't even moved yet and I can already fell the turbulance. Best thins I can do is take all my drugs.They still let us on Man it was a small plane. So the flight attendants comes back and anounce that the flight is cancelld. So we head off the plane. Go through customs, because although we never tecnically left Canada; we hd intentions. By this time we are walking through customs and it's pretty dark. I'm thinking they opened up customs just for us. But, know, more power is out. So now we are stuck down in immigration with no lights, no luggage and no explantion. Fast forward to 2 hours. Still stuck in immigration, but the lights are on. Still no luggge and there have been many explantions. All of them are making execuses. Anyway, we finally get out to find Ben and Karen picking us up. So I guess we'll try again tomorrow morning. Now we won't be coming back until Monday!!!!
Healthy - I waslked around the airost security for two hours. I' m pretty sure I got my 10,000 steps .
