My nose tells me I got way too much sun today. But I'm certainly not complaining. I had short nap outside this afternoon, and then another couple of hours in the sun watching the son play soccer. Finally hooked up with a good friend C. Haven't seen her all winter. We tend to get busy with work and family, and then there's just the fact "its winter"; neither of us favorite time. The was the highlight of the day.
Also had a great visit with S-H-A-U-N-A-N. She and her son came to watch the school soccer game. Always entertaining - not the soccer, but the company. Visiting with friends brings the reality of the new soccer season - I won't be able to visit with these great friends. Won't be long and the son will have his license and I can stay home and relax!
I did get stuff accomplished around the house. Not as much as I had hoped, but enough to make a dent. Took Maya for her walk this morning. We visited with the cougar plus her old friend Piper. When Maya was much younger, her and Piper would walk together. Maya has become that bossy old friend who always has to have the last word. Poor Piper, she just wanted to get out of the sun!!!!!
That was pretty much the day. After the school soccer game, I drove like a mad man to get the son to her club soccer practice. He arrived right on time, but no doubt he was expected to be early. Dropped him off at the field and then I quickly ran to the library to pick up a book I had on hold! If I left it any longer, I would have had fees to pay - not a word we use in this household (out loud, around Bill anyways) The book is called Life and Life, just up my alley. Which reminds me, I made a payment to go and see Clairvoyant Kim. Just waiting to hear back on a date and time. Probably will be somewhere in September - she is soo booked in advance.
BODY: Got my ab workout in again this morning. Only 8000 steps, but I'll try and get that up to 10,000 before bed (I did say try)
MIND: Louise Hay "I?m a student of Life, and I love it!" I don't think one ever finishes learning.
