A little late with the blog tonight, but I did do it as soon as I got home. Tonight was our Cinco de Mayo celebration. May 5 isn't until Wednesday, but this weekend was the only weekend that would work for everyone. This is our 5th year of celebrating with Bruce and Dianne. Tonight we also invited Sandra and Anthony to join us, along with Brucie and Dianne. We tried a new Mexican restaraunt. It's on 17th avenue and has only been open about 6 months. It was great. Our waiter, Fernando was excellent. If he hadn't had to work, he probably would have joined us for the tequila tasting afterwards. I was DD tonight. I need to be on my toes to be able to spar with Brucie. So after dinner we headed back to Bruce and Dianne's. Doug and Linda joined us around 10:00 for the tasting. And it's now 2:07 am so it's evident that the evening was a success. Bill was pretty well behaved. No one got sick in my car; but I think there will be a few sore heads and stomachs by tomorrow. (Author not included) I was hoping for a trip as my present this year, but I might have to go smaller - the bigger the drunk, the bigger the present; and like I said Bill was pretty well behaved.
Got a lovely gift from Sandra and Anthony for being the D.D. What a nice thought. I'm going to try and remember that next time someone is D.D for us. On wait, that's usually me!
BODY: Drank lots of water tonight. Had my one margarita at the restaraunt, and it was water and cranberry juice (not together) for the rest of the evening.
