Day 268 - 97 Days to Go

Did not get a lot of sleep last night - mostly the coughing kept me awake. But when I got up in the morning, I felt 50% better. I thought for sure I'd be sleeping back in my bed by tonight, but don't want to keep Bill awake all night, so will give it one more night on the couch (or the daughter's sandy bed)
Worked this morning, and I could tell by my lack of patience with a couple of kids, that I wasn't feeling 100%. Normally, I try and find other routes to deal with them; today it was do it my way!!!!!
Came home and went right back to bed. By the time I got up, it was time to make supper. Finished some laundry and started on some cupcakes. We are doing a bug theme at school, so I thought I would copy Alisa's cupcake creation she made for Caylee's birthday. Hopefully the kids will forgive me for being so impatient with them.

The son had soccer after supper so he drove us there. Now I have to set up this scenario, and hopefully it was come out as funny as when it happened. I have permission from the son to blog this (well technically I told him I was going to blog it and he didn't object) So the son is getting much more confident with his driving. I've tried to explain he should practice with the radio off to concentrate, but apparently I'm being a prude. That's another story for another time. Anyway, we driving down a road; he needs to turn left at the next set of lights; he signals and gets into turning lane. Now it is a long turning lane for the intersection with the lights. You could actually turn left from this turning lane, one intersection before the lights. The car in front of us puts his signal light on at the first intersection, but with the intention of turning at the second interestion where the lights are. The son so proudly tells me that he didn't put his signal lights on until he approached the intersection with the lights; where he was going to turn. "not like the idiot in front of me" he says in his cocky voice. So the light turns green for a left turn; the "idiot" in front of us turns left; the son turns left and then shouts "OMG, I had the wrong signal light on." I almost wanted him to catch up to the car in front of us and apologize for calling them an idiot. Been there, done that!!!! Hopefully it was a lesson learned.

BODY: Back on schedule with my juice and vitamins today. And lots and lots of water.

MIND: Louise Hay "I joyously give to Life, and Life lovingly gives to me."

Good night
