100 Days to Go - how can that be!!
Today was a very relaxing day. It started a little early than I would have liked. I woke up around 4:30 am (in my dreams it would be 4:30 pm) The coughing fit started so I headed down to the basement and my favorite chair. Of course the TV came on because that is the best way to put me to sleep. Had a really weird dream - Actually I didn't think it was a dream until I realized later on in the day, that it could never have happened. Up until then I was pretty sure I was awake. The dream was mainly about my Auntie Donna who passed away in 2002. I am going to keep record of the dream so when I go and see Clairvoyant Kim next November, I can ask about it.
I worked out in the garden this morning. I was hoping some nice fresh air would help clear up this cold a little faster. It amazes me that we have to take great strides in gettting the grass to grow and look so nice and green and yet, in my garden it just grows randomly - no matter how much I pull it.
Bill took the son to his soccer game today. Apparently it was a good one. The son was quite pleased with his performance and equally pleased the team won. I think this was a good confidence builder for the team.
Bill came home, had a quick bite and then he was off to the golf course. So the son and I started up the fire pit and roasted smokies. It hit the spot. As we were sitting around the fire, those 20/20 vision eyes of the son spotted an unrecognizable object under the deck - it was long, furry. After moving a little closer, he discovered it was a rabbit - a very very dead rabbit. How it got under the deck and died will remain a mystery. Bill promised to remove it tomorrow.
Then we played some cards - aggravation rummy, and let me tell you I was getting very aggrivated when he caught up to me at the end.
Just as Bill got home from golfing, the son was off to his girlfriends. He drove; made a quick pit stop at Co-op to pick up flowers for "the mom" for mother's day! Hmm, wonder if I'll get flowers from the son.
Bill and I watched a movie and now just waiting for the son to return home.
BODY: 10,000 steps and lots of garden work
MIND: The garden work was very relaxing and theraputic for me today. Just sat and pulled weeds and let the sunshine warm up my body and soul.
Good Night
