I really have trouble with the "illness" issue. I'm still feeling somewhat "croupy/coughing/stuffy. Now I know it would be a very big inconvenience for me to miss work - mostly because with the student adult ratio, a person from upstairs in the church would have to be brought down. I don't feel bad enough that I need to stay home - I'd still run out and do errands. But, spreading the germs is probably not a great idea. Then I get to work, and most of the kids are already sniffing and coughing. Now I could have called the preschool Monday and given the teacher a heads up; but what if I had felt better by Tuesday. Such turmoil!!!!!
I was actually surprised the number of students that did come to school today as the weather was still not very nice. There was a wind warning and it made the temperature seem much colder than it was.
Finished work and did my Safeways shopping. 10% tuesday - 1st Tuesday of each month. Still have a couple of items to get that Safeways didn't have. Superstore or Costco next couple of days.
Then I headed down for hair cut and color. Not a trim; not highlights; but the full meal deal. Well it's short - pixie cut short - and red - auburn red. The lady who did it, just opened her salon. She's from England and is related to soccer people we know (don't need to get into the entire geneology here) I received a gift certificate - and she did an amazing job. Would definetly go back to her (in Heritage Plaza) I told the son he'll have to try there next. She anxious to work on his hair.
So headed home in rush hour (although I think it's always rush hour on Crowchild Trail) Got home in time to help the son make supper. He had started everything I asked, but after cleaning out the freezed discovered there was no meat. He thought I was tricking him. Good thing I picked up chicken.
Did a bit of paper work and now I off to bed - the daughter's bed once again. I really don't want to give this to Bill. He's way to busy at work to be sick, and of course he's not one to take any time off either.
Am thinking of S-H-A-U-N-A-N and hoping she is having a wonderful time on her short trip. Hopefully the weather is much nicer on the west coast.
BODY: Besides my cup of lovely hot tea; the haircut and color perked me up 99.99 %.
MIND: Louise Hay "I release all fears and doubts." How else could I have told the hairdresser to do whatever she wanted (as long as it was short)
Good Night
Stacey
