It's Saturday night and we are still in Edmonton. Susan had a great soccer game today. They won 7 - 3. The rain has stopped (for now) but it is darn cold.
Stopped for a Starbucks run on the way to the soccer field. Needed something to keep us warm. "Glenda" got us to the field with no problem. However on the way back to the hotel was a different story. We missed one of her confusing directions and ended up taking a major detour. The good thing about her though, is she always gets us to where we want to go, maybe just not the fastest way.
Susan stuck with her team for supper and bowling afterwards. Anne and I ventured out to Red Robins for dinner (ok, not a big venture) A quick pit stop to Superstore for supper (just in case we wanted munchies with our movie tonight) We were only 4 or 5 blocks from our hotel, but the roads are so confusing we had "Glenda" help us again. For some unknown reason, we ended up at the hotel across the street to us (I think Anne and I were talking too much) We were still laughing as we made our way to the correct hotel and our room.
BODY: I had good intentions on hitting the gym this morning, but both Anne and I fell back asleep - so obviously that was needed much more by our bodies.
