Day 275 - 90 Days to Go

Another beautiful spring day! Too bad I had to spend most of it inside.

Work this morning went by quite fast. Had some discussions about hours next year. Might be getting more days! I'm good with that (not too many)

Then a quick trip home to visit with Maya and I was off to take my mom to the doctors. She was signed up for a physical, so the nurse told her to take everything off. (at 87, that is no easy task) We left the basics. Then when the doctor came in, he took her blood pressure and listened to her lungs and looked at her swollen legs. Now if that's how physicals go, maybe I'd get one!!!!!!!hahaha
He didn't want to mess around with her meds - cause last time he did that, she ended up in the hospital a couple of times. I was sure to remind him of that.
Finished up and of course mom had a couple of things she needed from Safeways - 3 turned into 10. We should have got a buggy.

So I took Mom home and headed home myself. Only the son was home. Bill had the day off to pick up his baby in the morning and golf in the afternoon. He's packing for his west coast trip as I type.

The son was thrilled to know Dad was going to give him a ride to soccer in the new Bella! Of course there wouldn't be a return ride in the new car - soccer smell and dry grass you know!
So I was on pick up duty.

Not a very exciting day, but the weekend is here and I may be able to relax all by myself - me and Maya and the flower beds!

BODY: 8000 steps today (didn't wear my pedometer to work today oops)

MIND: Louise Hay "Today?s thoughts create my future. I am in charge."

Good night
Stacey
